At Eni, we are looking for a Production Operator within Eni Australia Limited in Onshore Gas Plant and Offshore Well Head Platform, Wadeye, Australia's Northern Territory . You will be responsible for operating, controlling, and monitoring all Blacktip onshore and offshore Production and Utility mass transfer equipment by the Eni Australia Ltd Integrated Management System. Act in support of Emergency Response activities onshore and offshore. When required, work on our various offshore facilities for extended periods of time while being accommodated on a support vessel. Maintain the ability and enthusiasm to progress through to a senior operator level.
As a member of the Blacktip Operations Team at Eni Australia Limited you will be responsible for :
• Be working towards the completion of CBTs and meet behavioural expectations
• Supporting day shift & night shift operations, initially as an outside operator
• Operate and monitor Process and Utility equipment as directed
• Preparing equipment for maintenance as directed
• Returning equipment to full service on completion of maintenance as directed
• Conduct troubleshooting activities in support of plant optimisation
• Conduct production sampling and analysis
• Assisting with SPM maintenance and offtake campaigns when required
• Assisting with WHP maintenance campaigns when required
• Assisting maintenance department personnel if required, during campaigns or adhoc maintenance activities
• Working and communicating as part of a Team in support of SIMOPS and COMOPS
• Performing general gas testing duties
• Conducting routine readings of outside plant operating parameters
• Operating cranes and forklifts. Maintain HRWL qualification
• Conducting operations-specific maintenance as directed
• Utilising SAP to update and close out work orders and
• Utilising SAP to raise notifications for defects
• Undertaking and maintaining all training requirements as per the appropriate Training matrices
• Monitoring and responding to Fire and Gas indicated events
• Responding to abnormal process situations as directed
• Responding to Emergency Situations
• Conducting plant shutdown and restart activities as directed
• Working and communicating as part of an overall Team coordinating facility operations on and offshore
• Comply with and adhere to the Eni Golden Safety Rules
• Carrying out duties within and in support of the Permit to Work system
• Performing duties as part of the Emergency Response Team
• Conducting verbal handovers
• Preparing written handovers and production reports
• Conducting administrative duties as required
• Participating in EAL Safety initiatives and programs
• Review, revise and update standard, emergency and shutdown operating procedures as required
• Undertaking skills and familiarisation training to progress through to a senior operator level
This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements :
• Previous operating experience in an industrial chemical or oil and gas facility
• Certificate III in Process Plant Operations is desirable
• Understanding of Permit to Work systems and working within a safety-regulated environment
• Experience in planning for maintenance activities including shutdowns
• Sound knowledge of production and maintenance principals
• Demonstratable understanding of industrial process systems and technology
• Skilled in troubleshooting process upsets
• Holder of Senior First Aid competency qualification
• Holder of Fire Fighting & Confined Space Entry and Rescue qualification HRWL
• Ensure all training is completed and maintained and completed in accordance with the appropriate training matrices.
• Computer-based business literacy skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Work on a rostered time on and off cycle including working a twelve-hour night or day shift
• Be on call at the site during rostered off-shift hours to attend to urgent or emergency needs including part of the ERT
• Work from Darwin or Perth offices for ad-hoc assignments
• Able to successfully pass a pre-employment and ongoing fitness for work medicals (annual medical along with any ad hoc medical requirements)
• Comply with EAL Alcohol and Drug testing in accordance with the Substance Abuse Procedure
• Comply with EAL Fitness for Work Procedures
• Work at YGP, WHP or SPM as required
• Travel to various venues within Australia to attend training as required
• Ability to successfully obtain and refresh TBOSIET competency
