About The Role...
We have an exciting ongoing opportunity for a qualified and experienced Project Manager to join our Assets & Delivery team.
In this role you will manage city-wide projects on behalf of Council, from concept to finalisation and handover in accordance with agreed cost, time and quality requirements within Council’s Project Management Framework. You will deliver a defined program of projects that has a primary focus on sporting facilities (including buildings such as change rooms and clubrooms) but may also include other council infrastructure such as roads, stormwater, parks and footpaths.
About You...
You will be a degree qualified Civil Engineer with minimum 5 years experience in a Civil Infrastructure Project Management role.
You Will Have
- Demonstrated experience and formal training in project management, including scheduling, budgeting and construction of infrastructure and quality assurance.
- Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge and experience in Work Health and Safety requirements, including monitoring of contractor staff.
- Demonstrated ability to self-manage, deliver results and manage budgets within defined timelines and targets.
- Demonstrated knowledge in the development of contract documentation including technical specifications, tender briefs and participating in the tendering process.
Incumbents in this position may be required to possess, or be willing to gain a National Criminal History Clearance or DCSI Clearance.
