JOB DESCRIPTION
Wood are seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our Systems Integration Team in Wood's Brisbane CBD Office. Initially responsible for vendor oversight and technical interface, you will be working closely with various vendors to manage work scope, deliverables in alignment with project requirements.
You will become part of a team focused on delivering solutions for our client's assets in Queensland and the wider APAC region.

RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be contributing to the delivery of Engineering excellence through:- Ensuring vendor's technical quality and schedule are maintained
- Specification of DCS / PLC / HMI scope and hardware / software specifications
- Review of DCS / PLC code and HMI/SCADA configurations to current client standards
- Review of associated drawings, test procedures and manuals
- Review of Functional Safety lifecycle documentation, SIL verifications and SIS configuration
- Witness software FAT, software integration FATs and panel FATs
- Control systems change management
- Ensuring vendor's technical quality and schedule are maintained
- Ensuring smooth integration with vendor package control systems
- Control systems commissioning supervision
- Providing guidance and reviews to junior engineers

QUALIFICATIONS
- Automation vendor package management and deliverable review experience
- PLC, HMI, SIS and DCS configuration experience. Honeywell, Triconex and Allen Bradley PLC experience is highly desirable
- 7+ years of experience in industrial automation
- Functional Safety certification and experience desirable
- Networks & cybersecurity experience desirable
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
