Production Planner – Townsville About the Role UGL’s Manufacturing & Maintenance site in Townsville is seeking an experienced Production Planner to join our team. This full-time, permanent role is key to ensuring efficient production schedules and performance reporting. Reporting to the Project Manager, the Production Planner will collaborate closely with purchasing, production, and warehouse teams to meet production targets and contract deliverables. Key Responsibilities - Develop and issue the production schedule, track progress, and report on performance metrics. - Ensure accurate and timely closure of work processes. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet production targets and ensure smooth operations. About You - Experience: Proven background in planning roles or environments, ideally within Rail, Engineering, Defence, or Avionics sectors. - Skills: - Strong knowledge of production planning and quality control principles. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced), with experience in MS Word, SAP, MS Project, or Primavera P6. - Personal Qualities: Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
