Job Overview:
Responsible for the provision of cleaning services to ensure the clients premises are cleaned as per the site schedule and specifications.
Multiple casual cleaner positions are available. Varied shifts during between 6 am to 8.30 pm.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Understand the customer’s requirements to deliver the following responsibilities and duties to their expectations.
- Sweeping and mopping of hard floors
- Dusting of all surfaces (damp wiping)
- Cleaning of windows and doors both internal and external
- Complete clean of toilet areas
- Complete clean of kitchen areas
- Spot cleaning of all wall surfaces
- Removal of cobwebs
- Collection and removal of rubbish
- Cleaning of stainless steel of lifts, balustrades etc.
- Damp wipe clean of furniture and fittings
- Wiping and sweeping under and around seats and tabletops
- Operating handheld powered equipment such as leaf blowers and polishers
- Any cleaning as required, to maintain a high level of standard
- Understand and comply with quality, safety, health, and environmental policies.
- Follow written instructions, verbal direction, and procedures to perform work.
- Challenge any instructions that you believe places anyone or the environment at risk.
- Take personal responsibility to protect the health and safety of people or the environment.
- Support the corporate quality, safety, health and environmental management systems by:
- Reporting to your supervisor or QHSE Director any situation that could result in harm to a person, the environment or may adversely affect the services we provide our customers.
- Report to your supervisor or QHSE Director any opportunities that you believe would improve the quality of service we provide our customers or could reduce the potential for harm to people or the environment.
- Understand and support the annual QHSE objectives
Skills and Experiences:
Essential Selection criteria:
- Hold a valid driver’s licence (C)
- Knowledge and experience with commercial cleaning procedures and practices highly regarded.
- Ability to work without supervision and as a team member.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols.
- A positive NT Police Security Check Report.
- Hold or be willing to obtain a current first aid certificate and ochre card
