About the role

Westridge Construction Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Carpenter 1st and 2nd fix to join our team in North Beach, WA. As a skilled carpenter, you will be responsible for the installation and finishing of all carpentry work within residential construction projects.

What you will be doing

Reading and interpreting design drawings to execute carpentry tasks efficiently
Performing first and second fix carpentry work, including framing, installing doors, windows, working at heights, and skirting/ceiling boards
Assisting with the installation of cabinets, shelving, and other joinery items
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
Collaborating with other trades to ensure seamless project delivery
Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment

What we are looking for

Formal qualifications in carpentry or a related trade, such as a Certificate III in Carpentry or higher
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a carpenter in the construction industry
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
Up-to-date Resume (minimum of 2 references required)
